Honest Angus Beef & Berkshire Pork

The Farmers

Mill Brook Farm is a family-owned, family-run operation. Led by father-daughter duo of Harry McGovern and Meg Hamilton, Mill Brook's farmers are as honest and straightforward as our meat. We raise Registered Berkshire Pork on our fields and with Vermont Grains Non-GMO feed. Our Black Angus beef are raised exclusively from our own fields.  We happily supply both local farm-to-table restaurants, a local shop and the home chef.  Our animals are raised as kindly and honestly as possible.

Harry McGovern

Retired fire chief & fabricator, Harry is known by many in the area and fire service. He has a deep passion for raising & feeding our animals as honestly and ethically as possible...and puts his animals needs and comfort above his own. He is proud to have animals utilizing the fields as they originally were. Harry & his wife, Becky, reside on the 40 acre farm in the 1860's farmhouse.

Meg Hamilton

A photographer by trade {Rodeo & Co. Photography}, Meg became passionate about local, farm-to-table food when her oldest son began to eat solid food. A family history deep in farming has always been something that drives her- and she loves this new adventure with her dad. Meg was just as surpised as her family to discover that she loves the middle-of-the night, piglet watching {even in a snowstorm}. Meg lives a few miles up Mill Brook Road with her husband, Nate & their 2 boys {Marcus & Hank}....they also have a flock of fluffy chickens & hives of busy honeybees.

Marcus & Hank

Meg's boys are always happy to lend a hand when helping on the farm...we can wait for them to get a little bigger so they can start HAYING. :0)
